PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for paper feed selecting operation by an operator and to improve the operability by providing a copying paper selecting means which selects automatically copying paper of size set previously according to a comparison result which indicates that only one kind of adaptive size is available. CONSTITUTION:The copying paper selecting means is provided which selects automatically copying paper of size preset according to the comparison result indicating that only one kind of adaptive size is available, and when a comparison result shows that there are plural kinds of adaptive size, that is warned and displayed. Namely, when a divisional copy of desired size is taken and a comparison result indicates that there are copying paper of adaptive size present at the both, a paper feed selection is not made automatically and displays 80a and 80b of an upper and a lower field are made to alternately illuminate, thereby making a display warning that the operator should make a selection. Consequently, the operation operability in divisional copying mode can be improved. |
