PURPOSE:To make it possible to correct preset time, day, month and date thereby to improve the operability by converting the striking sounds or voices from the outside into correction control signals. CONSTITUTION:Upon correction of the time, a switch 12 is turned on to open a gate 10 so that a display mode selecting circuit 13 is set in a time correction mode. If a watch casing is softly hit, the striking sunds are picked up by a microphone 9 and converted into electric signals, which are fed through a filter 11 to the circuit 13. Thus, in accordance with the set mode, the correction signals are generated at 8 so that the counted content of the counter 4 is corrected in accordance with the standard time. Upon the correction of the date, month and day, the mode of the circuit 13 is set to receive the striking sounds so that the desired correction is performed. |
