PURPOSE:To collect automatically status information of channel units and than to store it, by storing a main memory unit with characteristic information sent out respective channel units. CONSTITUTION:With power ON, control processor 3 loads a needed program onto a main memory unit. With a start button depressed next, the execution of a monitor program loaded is started. Once a channel-constitution table generation program in this program is executed, processor 3 sends channel addresses to interface 4 in sequence. On receiving an address agreeing with its own address, each channel 2 sends its own status information to processor 3. By receiving it, processor 3 knows that there is the assigned channel and then writes it into the constitution table. Then, other pieces of information are checked and written into the constitution table. |
