Tooth brush with detachable dentifrice cartridge - has bore in head leading from bristles to piercing element inserted into reservoir to provide bristles with cleaning solution

The toothbrush is in two sections a head with a tuft of bristles and a removable protective cap (3) and an elongated reservoir (2) of tooth-cleaning solution. The head of the brush has an axial bore leading from the bristles to a short length of projecting pipe (1f). When the two sections are clipped together, the extension fits into the reservoir which is then squeezed to inject a small amount of solution on to the bristles. The flexible plastics reservoir may be a reusable cartridge. The toothbrush is esp. for use where conventional washing facilities are not available.
