<p>Plastics esp. polyurethane pts., which cannot be luted directly to metal, are cemented to metal pts., for use under high stress, by lining reverse of plastic pt., while not yet completely cross-linked, with an esp. glass fibre-strengthened epoxide resin laminate, as intermediate layer, and after complete throughdrying, joining to metal pt. by means of an epoxide resin adhesive. Products are pref. use as sliding surfaces for gliding metal pts., esp. moving spring switches for railway tracks.</p> |
