An improved driving system of tangential belt, for decreasing a power consumption & protecting a bearing from damage, is comprised of a driving pulley for belt, plural follower pulleys (2,---2n), & guide pulleys (3,---3m) for giving contact angles (Q1----Qn) of the belt with the follower pulleys. It is characterized that the contact angles is enlarged gradually in accordance with the follower pulley positioned upstream against the belt flow, and the radial load in the shaft of follower pulleys on driving is almost same one another.
