Monoazo disperse dyes (I; X = nitro, cyano, methyl sulfonyl ; R1,R2,R3 = lower alkyl ; lower alkoxy) were prepd. by coupling of diazotized 2-X-4-nitro-6-iodoaniline (II) with compd. III. polyester and cellulose ester textiles dyed with this dyestuffs had excellent sublimation resistance photo resistance and wash fastness.
