<p>The bicycle security lock has a circular guide (1) to house a circular locking bolt (35). The lock straddles the wheel and the bolt is driven through the spokes to form a closed loop. The bolt is locked by a key operated barrl on the top of the housing, with the whole lock mechanism mounted on the machine via a separate mounting plate (3). The mounting plate is bolted to the rear of the luggage carrier, or the mouting bolt of the brake callipers. Mounting holes in the plate provide for a universal mounting. For additional security the plate can be weded to the frame.</p> |
