<p>The profile assembly is used in erection of glass sheet metal, plastics, or other walls, with one or more skins, of considerable height, assembled into a frame. A support profile unit (1, 1a) monolithically incorporates two parallel fitting flanges. These have U-shaped clamping grooves (6), into which two paired L-sectioned clamping profiles (12) are pressed and locked. On the flanges or clamping profiles there are retainer channels for elastic sealing members (32), for clamping the edges of flat elements (31, 35) between them when the intermediate and/or clamping profiles are fixed.</p> |
