Insertable controller, esp. for electric welding plant - where programmable adjusting devices on front panel of controller are covered by transparent casing

Controller consists of a plug-in unit or sliding rack, which is pushed into the cabinet surrounding a power supply used esp. for arc or plasma welding or cutting. The front surface of the controller is fitted with adjusting devices and covered by a transparent casing. Casing is pref. clamped onto the controller via the two handles employed to slide the controller into or out of the power supply cabinet. The transparent casing may also be held on the controller via clips mating with the handles and easily released. The casing shields the adjusting devices from mechanical and atmospheric influences, and prevents unauthorised personal from interfering with the adjusting devices.
