Diaphragm valve for aggressive media - has one-piece thrust member between control and sealing diaphragms

The valve is esp. for controlling the flow of fluids and/or aggressive media, having a diaphragm shutting off the passage and actuated by a pressurised control diaphragm. Between the control (26) and sealing (18) diaphragm is a one-piece thrust member (32) transmitting the force between them. It can be solidly secured to both at the centre and guided axially and peripherally in the valve housing (12). There can be a clearance (82) between it and the guiding portions, to allow limited tilting of the member in two planes at right angles to each other.
