Mixing device - with two tubular membranes in two chambers alternately oscillated by compressed air admission

A liquid mixing device consists of two tubular chambers which are sepd from each other by an annular disc. Each chamber is lined with a tubular membrane, amde of elastic material, which rests at a perforated tubular support so that each membrane can be deflected inward in turn by the admission of a pressurised medium. Used in cleaning of machine parts, preparation of material to be transported in mines, mixing of pulps dispersions and degreasing in the chemical industry, wet treatment of leather and textiles. This ensures that the membranes oscillate mainly in the fundamental mode without higher harmonics. This improves the mixing of efficiency and prevents clogging of the perforations.
