<p>PURPOSE:To sense the remaining transcript sheets in a cassette and inform when it attains a certain specified number, by allowing a sensing means to sense the change in the angle of a takeout roller supporting member in accordance with decrease of the transcript sheets, wherein the takeout roller supporting member takes out transcript sheets out of the cassette. CONSTITUTION:A pickup roller 161 at the tip of a supporting member 301 cou pled with a shaft 921 of a pivoting part G is in pressure contact with transcript sheets P2 accommodated in a cassette 4 being stacked, and they are taken out one after another from the uppermost one with rotation of this pickup roller 161 and delivered to an image forming part. The pickup roller 161 descends with decreasing transcript sheets P2 in the cassette 4, and accordingly the above mentioned supporting member 301 is inclined, and when a specified number of remaining sheets is attained, a light shutting member F1 at the other end of this supporting member 301 blocks the light path of a photo- interruptor S1 consisting of a beam projector and a beam receiver, followed by generation of signal and displaying. Thus the user is informed that the specifeid number of residual sheets is attained, which can decrease possible loss time associate with interruption of image forming.</p> |
