<p>The remote operated closing mechanism for doors and windows uses a system of sliding bars and includes a right angle connection at a corner. Part of this connection consists of a drive bar with a slot through it, and a coupling member at the other end, connecting it to the next drive bar. Enclosing these members are cover strips, one being an L-shaped strip at the corner. This is connected to the next cover strip by an outer coupling member which bridges the joint. The coupling member is secured by a rivet to the L-shaped strip, and has a toothed rib which fits into a toothed slot along the next cover strip giving an adjustable connection.</p> |
