The working chair can be adjusted in height and consists of a column, seat and back-rest. The column is pivot-mounted in a base and supports an attachment. Both the seat and backrest are movably mounted on the column by means of a support. The top of the column has a holder in which is movably mounted a threaded spindle at the end of which is a turning handle. The seat support is mounted in the holder on an axis running crosswise to the vertical plane of symmetry. The back-rest is fixed onto a bar which can be adjusted in length and moved up and down a holder hinged to the seat support. The backrest holder has mounted in it a cam with turning handle.
