PURPOSE:To ensure a safety, to shorten the time of rice boiling and to improve the heat insulation characteristic by disposing an induction heating coil in the lower section of a pan, instead of a rice boiling embedded-heater, so as to give an induction heating system with the use of an inverter. CONSTITUTION:A heat-hold determining means 3 determines whether a temperature detected by a pan temperature detecting means 2 is higher than a heat holding temperature or not. Further, a heat-holding heater drive means 6 energizes a heat-holding heater 5 disposed in the upper section of the pan 1, and an inverter 8 having an induction heating coil 7 as a resonating coil disposed in the pan 1 below the heat holding heater 5, is driven by an inverter drive means 9. When the means 3 determines that the temperature of the pan 1 is higher than the heat holding temperature, a control means 10 delivers turn-on and -off signals to the means 6, 9. Meanwhile, when the means 3 determines that the temperature of the pan 1 is lower than the heat holding temperature, the control means 10 delivers turn-on and -off signals, alternatively to the means 6, 9 in accordance with a time counted by a timer counter 4. |
