A process and apparatus for making composite metal panels useful particularly as solar heat exchanger panels. Two sheets 21, 23 are "green" bonded together by cold rolling to a given thickness reduction. Bond enhancement after rolling is prevented by applying a coolant 29. The green bonded sheets may be inflated between opposed dies. A particular design of inflation needle may be used for introducing the inflation pressure. <IMAGE> |
