发明名称 SINTERED MATERIAL WITH TENACITY AND WEAR RESISTANCE FOR CUTTING TOOL
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a sintered material which comprises aluminium oxide, high- hardness cubic boron nitride and a compound which has a high melting point, a good hardness at high temperature, a small thermal expansion coefficient and a good wetting property to the preceding sintered constituents. CONSTITUTION:5-50vol% by volume of powder of the high-melting-point compound such as carbide, carbonitride, carboxide or carbonitroxide of 4a-6a family metals on the periodic table, 10-70% by volume of powder of the aluminium oxide and 25-85% by volume of powder of the cubic boron nitride and unavoidable impurities are mixed with one another. The mixed powder is sintered by a conventional very high pressure and temperature generator. The mixed powder is then released from pressure and cooled, thereby obtaining the sintered material.
