PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance by coating magnetic powder made of rare earth element, transition metal, boron alloy with an oxide film and one or more types of organic metal compounds. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic powder made of metal element and nonmetal element(TM) and boron(B) alloy in addition to one or more types of rare earth elements(R) and transition metal is coated with an oxide film and one or more types of organic metal compounds. That is, the surface treatment by chromic acid of this R-TM-B magnetic powder is effective in the improvement in corrosion resistance. Further, it is also effective in improvements in reaction of the magnetic powder with organic metal compound. The surface treatment of the magnetic powder with the organic metal compound is preferable as a binder assistant of the magnetic powder and organic resin to improve dispersibility and orientation. Thus, corrosion resistance can be improved. |
