PURPOSE:To manufacture a desired residual projection, by reducing the feed velocity of a machining electrode according as the flow rate of an electrolyte increases, so that a constant machining gap is maintained. CONSTITUTION:Just before the end of machining of the residual projection 2, the feed velocity of the machining electrode 1 is reduced according as the flow rate of the electrolyte increases, so that the machining gap between the electrode 1 and the projection 2 is kept constant. As a result, no convex part is produced on the machining-finished end of the projection 2 when the projection is removed as a product from a workpiece. |
