PURPOSE:To make possible exchanging through one reciprocation of a transfer truck and considerably reduce exchanging time by unloadably holding a new segment to the transfer truck, letting the truck travel up to the required part, exchanging the new segment with the old one, then transferring out the old segment. CONSTITUTION:In performing exchanging of a guide segment 4, a new segment 4' is positioned in the rear side of a transfer truck 8 and is unloadably supported by a hoist 7b. Next, thus truck 8 is run on a travel rail 6 to carry the segment to the specified position of the segment 4 to be exchanged. Next, the old segment 4 to be exchanged is lifted by the hoist 7a and is hoisted to the front side of the transfer truck 8, thence the transfer truck 8 is transferred forward by the specified distance to align the new segment 4' to the installation position. Next, the new segment 4' is installed by the hoist 7b, after which the transfer truck 8 while holding the old segment 4 is run on the travel rail 6, whereby the old segment is carried out. |
