<p>A method and apparatus is provided for feeding articles such as parts of trees to a processing machine such as a chipper. Instead of the articles being loaded onto an open conveyor which takes them to the chipper, the articles are grasped singly or a few at a time by grapples which move, one after the other, along a path leading to the feed means for the chipper.</p> |
