摘要 |
PURPOSE:To make possible obtaining stable recording quality over a wide light intensity range with a simple constitution by using a plurality of semiconductor lasers and optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:Laser beams 4 thru 6 out from plural semiconductor lasers 1 thru 3 are coupled respectively to optical fibers 10 thru 12 by converging lens systems 7 thru 9. Further the laser beams having propagated in the optical fibers 10 thru 12 are coupled to one optical fiber 14 by a wave combining device 13. The radiation light 15 from the exit end of the optical fiber 14 is converged by a converging lens system 16. A recording material is placed on the focal plane of the converging lens 16 and the radiation light 15 is scanned by a suitable scanning optical system. Further the recording material is moved in the direction orthogonal to the scanning. If the driving currents of the semiconductor lasers 1 thru 3 are changed according to the information desired to be recorded, the information is recorded on the recording material. |
