PURPOSE:To enable the operation also in bi-level mode at a same temperature level with bi-level mode, namely in keeping the head cool and the feet warm, with an air conditioner equipped with automatic temperature control. CONSTITUTION:When a floor door 14 is set at the opening position shown by one- point chain line in the closed state of a mixed-air door 16, bi-level mode in keeping the head cool and the feet warm is obtained. On the other hand, when the floor door 14 is set at the position shown by solid line, namely at the intercepting position for a floor blowing-out port 7 and a defroster blowing-out port 8, the cold wind from a cold-wind passage 6' and the warm wind from a heater core exit side 4' join in a bypass passage 5, and cold-warm mixed air having a disired temperature is obtained. When an opening-closing door 16 is opened, cold-warm mixed air is fed to the floor blowing-out port 7 through a passage 15 and also fed to a vent blowing-out port 6 from the bypass passage 5, and the cold-warm mixed air in a same temperature level is blown out at a same time from the under-floor part and the instrument plate part. |
