PRODUCTION OF LIUQID CRYSTAL DISPLAY ELEMENT

PURPOSE:To enable the function of organic-base material to be fully exhibited despite the use of said material for insulation films and orientation films by forming the orientation films after sealing face plates in the quest-host type liquid crystal display element. CONSTITUTION:Transparent electrodes and terminals 2 for connecting them to external circuits are provided to face plates 1 made of glass. Two sheets of the face plates 1 with the transparent electrode sides being put on the inner side are sealed at the periphery by means of sealants 7, leaving plural holes 8. Raw material liquid for insulation films and orientation films are injected and discharged through the holes 8, whereby the insulation films and orientation films or only the orientation films are formed.
