<p>PURPOSE:To make an entire excitation system small and to reduce the cost thereof by providing a tertiary winding in an auxiliary-equipment power transformer and by employing the winding as a transformer for a magnetic-field power source. CONSTITUTION:A transformer 110 with a tertiary winding is employed as an in-house auxiliary-equipment power transformer, e.g., a power-center transformer, and the tertiary winding is utilized to supply power to a rectifier 5 as a magnetic- field power source. In this constitution, a dedicated magnetic-field power transformer is omitted, thereby the entire excitation system can be made small and its cost can be reduced.</p> |
