<p>In a switch 1 with a body 2 comprising a hollow housing 7 containing cam followers 8 which reciprocate movable contacts 11 in response to rotation of a cam 6 acting on heads 15 of the followers 8, applied against the cam by springs 17, a wall 9 of the housing has ribs 10 for cooperation with respective lips 16 on followers 8. During assembly or when the switch is dismantled, such as by removal of the cam, followers 8 do not fly out of the body 2 under force of the springs because each lip 16 engages the corresponding rib 10. The body 2 includes a conventional locating device and a plurality of contact housings 7, each with a cam 6 splined on a shaft 5 having a knob 3. <IMAGE></p> |
