A stroboscopic deflection tachometer, comprising a shaft transmitting its angular velocity to a rotatable disc (1) provided with an electroluminescent indicator (2) supplied at an excitation frequency determined by an indicator control system including a series of connected single-pulse generators (G1, G2 ....Gn), the first generators (G1) being coupled either with the whole indicator or a part of it through an amplifier (7) and a timer member (6) for determining the indicator lighting time, and the last generators (Gn) being coupled with either the whole indicator or with a part of it through an amplifier (9) and a timer- member (8) for determining the indicator lighting time, and a detector (4) for detecting the angular position of the rotatable disc, the output of the detector (4) being supplied, together with the output of the second generator (G2), to the input of the first generator (G1). The time constant of the first generator (G1) is ten times shorter than the sum of the time constants of the generators (G1 .... Gn), so that during one full revolution of the whole indicator (2), the radially- inner indicator part performs 0.1 revolution. <IMAGE> |
