<p>NEW MATERIAL:A prostacycline-family compound of formula I or its salt (R<1> is H or lower alkyl; R<2>, R<3> are lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, halogen or trifluoromethyl; A is methylene, O or S; n is 1-8). EXAMPLE:6,9 alpha-Methlene-11alpha, 15alpha-dihydroxy-17-phenyl-18,19,20-trinorprosto- 5(E), 13(E)-dienoic acid. USE:Remedy and prophylactic of thrombosis, having blood platelet coagulation inhibiting, coronary vessel dilating, and bronchodilating activities. PROCESS:The compound I is prepared by (1) reacting a compound II (R<4> is OH-protecting group) with a Wittig reagent III (R<5> is aryl, alkyl; M is alkali metal), (2) converting the product to free acid by treating with an acid, (3) optionally esterifying the acid to obtain a compound IV (R<6> is H or lower alkyl), (4) eliminating the OH-protecting group, and (5) optionally hydrolyzing the resulting ester derivative.</p> |
