The heat-sensitive layer may contain a polymeric film-forming binder and be coated on a transparent support. The ferric soap may be ferric stearate and the silver soap may be silver behenate. The phenolic co-reactant may be pyrogallic acid, catechol, protocathechuic acid, azelayl, pyrogallic acid, azelayl bis-pyrogallic acid, methyl gallate or behenoyl pyrogallol.
