<p>This invention relates to an electric low power machine, especially a low power motor. The low power motor comprises a brush carrier plate 10 made from a resilient plastics material which is provided with supports 22, 24, for choke coils 26 and a capacitor 28. To enable a component such as a switch to be pre-mounted by a simple plugging-in action and to be securely retained on the carrier plate 10 for subsequent soldering operations, the plate has upstanding resilient members 36 with stop shoulders 40 which engage behind counter abutments 54 on the switch when this is plugged in. <IMAGE></p> |
