Loading crane for transferring large containers - has bridge structure between ship and quay and trolley operated by simple rope system

The cargo loading crane is esp. for transferring large bulky goods or containers. The crane has a bridge resting on the land side and a water side support structure. The crane projects beyond this structure and has a trolley travelling along the bridge system. The driving unit is connected with the support structure so that they form a single load-carrying structure. The support system has a channel type bridge beam whose opening is directed away from the driving system's support structure. The latter forms the upper transverse connecting member for the support structures.
