<p>The sheet-metal boiler is for heating by oil or gas, its water chamber being formed by a double-walled box-section body open at one side, while the firebox is elliptical with its major axis upright. A convective tube bundle is accommodated in the firebox, an inlet space being formed between its end and the inner face of the boiler end wall. The water chamber (5) is formed by a boiler body (2) closed on all sides, while the convective portion (9) is a separate interchangeable unit. In the lower part of the firebox (1) there is an access port (7) in the boiler body end wall, closed by a sealed hatch (18), its cross-section corresponding to that of the convective portion. In the rear wall (29) of the body is an outlet (8) of dimensions identical to those of the port and coaxial to it.</p> |
