<p>The working table, esp. a drawing board, is infinitely adjustable in height, with the weight of the table top compensated by at least one spring (11). A pulley (13) is connected to the tension spring (11) and contains at least one fixed (16) and one movable roller (14), with the axle of the movable roller cupled with the tension spring (11). The pulley (13) and tension spring (11) are contained in a hollow, horizontal cross-beam (9) joining two vertical columns (4, 5). As the transition point between the crossbeam (9) and one upright is a deflector roller (18) rotating on a horizontal axle (22) over which runs a pulley cable (17).</p> |
