Heavy duty tipper mechanism for road vehicle - operates single ram on pivot mounting on articulated coupling

The heavy duty tipper lorry is designed for use over rough ground. It has the tipper constructed as a trailer unit which is pivoted about an articulated coupling on the two axle towing unit. The lifting ram pivots with the coupling and the trailer is linked to the coupling by stabilising arms. The rear wheels move forwards relative to the front and middle wheels as the tipping motion takes place. The system allows tipping then the trailer and towing unit are at different ground levels or inclinations.
