Air pressure pulsation in organs giving tremolo effect - has coupled spring mass system vibrated by solenoid to vary bellows pressure

The two degree of freedom spring-mass system is excited by a solenoid and is used to generate a tremolo effect in organs by producing pulsations in the air supply to the pipes. One mass (9, 13, 14, 15, 16) is supported on springs (8) connected to hooks (7) attached to the organ bellows. The second mass consists of the solenoid (12) with a coupled plate (11). When energised with a pulsating voltage, the bellows pressure varies in a similar way with the average value remaining the same.
