A bathroom cabinet (1) has an additional compartment (3) attached to its base. This additional compartment is fitted with a digital clock, a time alarm, and radio (7). The time alarm is set to warn the user that the required time for hair dye to take effect has elapsed. The radio enables the user to be kept informed of any special news such as traffic announcements etc. or simply to listen to music. If ordinary radios are used in the bathroom there is a risk of their being damaged by being dropped. This risk is eliminated with the radio built into the cabinet.
