Poly-cyclic laser with annular glass tube - contains glass window at pulse coupling point and has laser crystal rod with decoupling head

The annual tube can be of glass or or metal with inner mirror coating. It carries a glass window at the pulse coupling point, which is orthogonal to the optical coupling axis. This window serves for collecting the beam without switching. The shaft of the laser crystal rod is hollow and carries a broken surface decoupling head above an annular groove. The shaft is inactive but carries a bundle of laser-active glass rods in its cylindrical cavity. In the bundle are formed channels for coolant flow over all laser rods. An outlet branch leads the collant to a refrigeration system. The coolant circuit is connected to an immersion circuit also used for the system cooling. The use of laser bundles in inactive glass shaft prevents self-focussing and transversal oscillations.
