Monitor for blocking ability of diodes arranged in groups - uses potential dividing stage consisting of light sender of optical coupler and light receiver

Two diodes are connected in series, and at least two such series circuits are connected in parallel and combined in two groups. Junction points between diodes in a series circuit and in a group are provided with a cross-connection, each of which leads to an input of a potential isolating stage, whose outputs are connected to a fault signalling stage. The potential isolating stage has a light source, a potential isolating light path and a light receiver. The light sender is connected to the inputs of the isolating stage, and the receiver outputs are the isolating stage outputs.
