Automatic telephone answering machine - replays recorded message before connecting caller through to called subscriber

The automatic telephone answering machine is connected to a telephone set and records incoming conversations and replays a recorded message to the caller. After the message has been replayed, the machine connects the caller to the wanted subscriber. After changeover to the wanted subscriber a call signal is applied to the line until the called subscriber answers. The caller therfore receives the called party's recorded message before being connected through. The recorded message can be an advertisement, the name and profession of the subscriber, change of number etc.
