PURPOSE:To make possible writing operation to the margin part of original images through the use of the original in the state of positive images without preparing any negative images by providing two latent image formers of copying function and printer function and removing the charges of the potential levels nearly half the evenly charged potentials on their respective recording medium surfaces. CONSTITUTION:Exposure time and the luminous intensity of a light source 4 are so controlled that the exposure by a copying exposure divece 19 onto a recording drum 1 becomes the exposure of removing the charges half the evenly charged charges by a corona discharger 2 Similarly, the radiation quantity of laser light of a record- writing optical device 20 is also so set as to become the radiation quantity of removing half the evenly charged charges. Then, the potentials of the latent image portions of the copying images and the potentials of the record-writing portions to be written in the margins thereof are transferred both at an equal potential level to transfer paper by a transfer corona discharger 9. In this way, printing of characters, etc. on the margin part by the direct use of the copying images of positive images becomes feasible. |
