PURPOSE:To eliminate edge effect and obtain the images of high quality by disposing a transparent film formed with white dot patterns on the way of the optical path from the original picture up to the electrostatic latent image holder and finely segmenting the charged patterns of the electrostatic latent images. CONSTITUTION:A transparent film 13 with white dots is superposed on the glass 12 on which the original picture 4 to be copied is placed, thence the original picture 4 is placed thereon. The transparent film 13 with white dots comprises printing white dots 14 on a transparent high polymer film and the light radiated from exposure light sources 5, 6 to the original picture 4 is reflected only at the white part of the original picture 4 and at the white dots 14 of the film 13 and is imaged on the photoreceptor 2. The electrostatic latent images thus formed on the photoreceptor 2 are by the charged patterns having been finely segmented and therefore edge effect at the developing will not occur and the images are formed by the gathering of dot pictures, thus the images of fine resolution and high quality may be obtained. |
