PURPOSE:To execute the repairs of the vacuum tank with excellent efficiency and safety, by placing the vacuum tank on the stationary stand of the transporting truck, and also, by using the forklift to lift the repairing jigs so as to approach the suitable position, in case of repairs of the vacuum tank of the molten steel degassing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The vacuum tank 3 of the molten steel degassing apparatus is detached from the auxilary apparatus, and is held on the stationary stand 4 of the transporting truck 1 through the cylinder 5. The truck 1 is moved to the repair shop, and the working truck 2 is moved to the outside of the stand 4; on this working truck 2, the repairing jigs such as the waste brick recovery bucket 10, the working stand 11 for building up the furnace, etc., are placed. This truck 2 is moved to the spot under the vacuum tank 3, and at the same time, the repairing jigs are lifted by the forklift 8 to the level covenient for the repairing work and are positioned; and then, the damaged part of the vacuum tank 3 is repaired. Hereupon, by actuating the cylinder 5, the vacuum tank 3 is vertically moved for adjusting the position, so that the repairing work can be easily and safely executed. |
