PURPOSE:To enhance distance measurement accuracy, logic circuit is provided to judge the validity of the signal from the highest sensitivity light-measuring circuit according to signals from other light measuring circuits. CONSTITUTION:Logic circuit 14 receives outputs from D flip flops 3a to 3d, and makes only one terminal H from output terminals A to H. Pulse from light emitting element 11 is reflected from object to be measured and received by a number of photoreceptor elements 1a to 1d. Light measuring circuits 2a to 2d correspond to the photoreceptor elements 1a to 1d and detect which one has received the reflected light. This provides in each zone the position of the object, the distance of which is to be measured, where the logic circuit 14 judges the validity of the signal from the highest sensitivity light-measuring circuit according to signals from other ligh- measuring circuits. |
