In provision for draining waster water from households by vacuum, the collection container (10) is a U-shaped pipe with a narrower centre stem (13). It has one shank (11) bearing on the intake pipe socket (20) at the top, carries a suction pipe (30), with an opening (31) normally above fluid level (N1) and linked to the outlet pipe socket (21). At this connection (35) there is a ventilation pipe (40), wider than the latter socket, which is also narrower than the first socket. It is linked to a three-way ventilating valve (42), with socket (43) and pipe (45). There is also a control switch (61), activated by rising fluid, connected to the ventilating valve. This operates reliably, with virtually no maintenance, and with no valves in the waste water area.
