PURPOSE:To avoid interference to the operation of actuators, by sure and easy diagnosis for the failure in the circuit system through the use of the circuit failure diagnosis virtual signal in operating the electromagnetic actuators with the control signal in operational processing. CONSTITUTION:The drive circuit 10 operates the electromagnetic actuator 11 in response to the control signal in operational processing with the control and operation circuit 9, and the circuits 9, 10 and the actuator 11 are diagnosed. Then, the circuit diagnosis virtual signal is inputted from the input terminal 8. Further, the load current limit resistor 13 limits the actuator 11 to a current to stop the operation while the actuator 11 is not required to be operated, and the resistor 13 is shortened when the actuator 11 is required to be operated with the normally open switch 13 connected in parallel with the resistor 13. Further, in case of circuit failure diagnosis, the signal between the circuit 10 and the resistor 13 is picked up from the output terminal 15 as the circuit failure diagnosis output signal to make independent of the operation of the actuator 11. |
