PURPOSE:To obtain the title peptide good in affinity for the hair and skin, outstanding in solubility in water and stability with time, useful as a formation for cosmetics, by hydrolysis of casein with trypsin and subtilysin. CONSTITUTION:Casein is dissolved in an aqueous solvent and hydrolyzed using trypsin and subtilysin and, after deactivation of the trypsin and subtilysin, the pH of the system is brought to 4-5 to remove the insolubles followed by desalting through pref. an electrodialysis, thus obtaining the objective casein. |
