The intercom, and video system consists of a flush-fit casing whose front has a signal generator and a loudspeak etc. The front of the casing is formed by a removable panel (1). All the components are mounted on this panel. The panel is attached to the casing by a hinge along one edge and by locking devices along the opposite edge. An elastic seal seals the join between panel and casing. A camera (4) is mounted on the panel with its optical axis parallel to the panel's plane. A 45 deg. mirror deflects the optical axis through 90 deg. and is also on the panel.
