NEW MATERIAL:An addition compound of formula composed of an estradiol derivative and streptozotocin. USE:Anti-tumor agent having selectivity to cancer cells having receptors, and low side effects. Especially effective to breast cancer, solenoma, prostatic cancer, nephritic cancer, thyroid cancer, etc. PROCESS:The objective compound of the formula is prepared by reacting the 17-OH group of estradiol with a functional group-introducing agent (e.g. monobromoacetyl bromide) to afford estradiol-17-monobromoacetate, reacting the product with alpha- benzyl-N-benzyloxycarbonyl-D-glycosamine uronate silver salt (an anti-tumor agent) at 0-100 deg.C for 2-74 hours, and finally reacting the product with H2, CH3NCO and HNO2. |
