PURPOSE:To simplify a multiplication process and also to increase a processing rate by providing a memory unit, stored previously with multiplication results, to the post stage of data to be processed by multiplication, and the by using this processed data as the address assignment signal for the memory unit. CONSTITUTION:To perform a multiplication process of p.c=q, line 2 where on data (p0) is sent becomes the address line of ROM1 since multiplication results (q) of multiplier (p) and multiplicand (c) equivalent to every value of (p) have been written to ROM1, multiplication result (q0) equivalent to (p0) is read out to output line 3, and at this time, the multiplication circuit is simplified. In general, the digital filter consists of four elements, input part 4, arithmetic part 5, output part 6, and control part 7. Arithmetic part 5 consists of a delay element, adder, ROM, etc., according to a pulse transfer function and its ROM is stored previously with multiplication results. |
